MistaFlava's 2008-2009 CBB PS2 Picks: 0-0 ATS

MistaFlava's 2008-2009 CBB Record: 90-93-4 ATS (+82.20 Units)

Alright so I've had about enough of my own capping, can't get above 50% on the year and losing money faster than I would like so the last few weeks I have been playing around with the settings on the PS2 and I think I finally have it right.

The simulations take into account injuries, style of play, starting 5 players, emotional factor in terms of a revenge game and all of that. The PS2 even has tournament mode which should be useful this upcoming week. I make the game the right length of time to simulate actual scores in games. You all know how much success I had doing this in NFL and CFB both earlier this past year and about 3-4 years ago in 2006 when the PS2 went on a 32-6 run at some point so why doubt it?

For the time being I will hand select games based on lines, importance of game, conference of play and availability (betting, TV, sports trackers).

You can't win every game using PS2 or other simulation machines but please understand that they are quite accurate because they provide an amazing feeling for a real life matchup. So much detail is put into these games and the style of play of different teams.

***IF YOU HAVE A REQUEST FOR ME TO SIMULATE A GAME, PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL DO MY BEST TO SET IT UP AND RUN (takes about 45 minutes for each game)

You can tail, you can fade or you can just watch. I have always been a streaky capper. Good Luck to all this week!

Flava, I though you broke down and bought a PS3. Surely you can spare 3 of your units for this investment? The PS3 is more advanced and will give you a more realistic outcome of your simulations.

What a way to start this thing off. Wish I had used it a lot more this season. Virginia Tech was the only loss but they had their chances to cover that game and their star players were asleep all game and never woke up. Congrats to all winners and I know this is a small sample of games but you have to believe these machines do a good job simulating.

It's in the works, I had one for a while but it wasn't mine.
