I was sleeping with wife and baby. Text alerts go off at 8:02 and i'm freaking out cause I didn't want to wake up the baby. Didn't even read the alert. 1 min later my phone is blowing up with texts so I wake up and see what is going on.
wtf do you do at that point?
I figured i'm far enough away from military bases (about 15 miles) where my only concern is if they have bad aim. So I closed my windows and tried to find something on the radio/tv. One station had a broadcast saying missles would land within minutes. Pretty scary stuff. I only woke my wife up when her mom kept calling her. My fear/panic only lasted about 5-10 minutes as someone spread word it was a false alarm well before the text came back over 30 min later.
