I will be watching this line, as I believe it could get to 10. Everyone is conceding this game to Bama. However, MSU is a veteran, senior driven team. Also, MSU will have the best player on the field Saturday. I believe Dak Prescott will keep his team in the game. I remember when Rothleisberger was QB at Miami (Ohio), I read that the books adjusted the line 7 pts., just for his presence on the field. You cannot underestimate quality at the QB position. Also, that was a hard fought, emotional, overtime win for Bama on the road. At the same time, MSU had a walk over. I'm not predicting a MSU victory, but I believe the late money will come on Bama and I will be able to improve my position. I will be surprised if this is not a competitive game.

Dak is a good college quarterback that has done all the right things. No need to hate on him just because you're betting on Alabama. Miss St is a good team that has a really good coach. Bama may win and even cover but Miss St will not be embarrassed. I'm a SEC fan but I'm so ready for Saban and Alabama to get knocked out.

I was praising Prescott before the season and he's done nothing to disappoint. Still, don't act like this is the first quality QB a Saban team has ever faced...

I'm curious how the scenario would play out if Miss State loses a close/tight game and then beats Ole Miss. Do you think they deserve to still make the playoff? I'd say yes, at 11-1 with their sole loss close at playoff bound Alabama. Still a lot of time left and it's likely some crazy things will happen, as they usually do this time of year.

i dont think that line will ever get to 10 and if does count me in for about 30% of my bankroll. that would be way to many points to hand a team in a game of that magnitude. other than that, ill probably steer clear of this game and just watch it to enjoy it rather than scream at the tv lol

I just posted in another thread that I believe if they lose a close one to Bama, they'll remain in the Top Four come Tuesday, but gonna have to be a three point or less game imo.

The line is at 8 1/2 in most Vegas shops now. The is weoll within that "We really have no clue" range of 8 to 9 1/2 points. I think that Dak is a good QB, but Alabama has a better overall running game, which will probably carry the day. Still, this game is a pass for me. I would need 'Bama at -6 1/2 or less, or State at 10 1/2 or more to wager on this game.
