Anyone have anthing on this game? I really want to take Miss St +5, but everyone seems to be leaning Tenn. Any help would be appreciated.

Tennessee is going to HAMMER Mississippi State as long as MSU isn't given the treatment they were given in the last 2 games... if all of this hacking on the inside and hooks by Vernardo is allowed like they were the past two games then I could see them hanging in and possibly covering though...

Like Tennessee. Varnardo was sucking wind the whole second half and Miss St. needs him. They are a 3 point shooting team and are tired. Tennessee pressure will hurt Miss St.

The lack of a whistle goes both ways....not sure I would agree there. I hear what you are saying though, Tenn is a good team, just don't know if the revenge factor comes in to play with a Miss St team that seems to be playing at a different level.

Tennessee is playing MUCH better than Mississippi State... I don't see the "playing on a different level" aspect of your argument... LSU played terribly yesterday and was still in the game with everything being called to benefit the bulldogs. Thornton was hacked many times and nothing was called.. like I said, Vernardo hooks the defender everytime he gets the ball and it hasn't been called the past two games. Tennessee is much more athletic, I have a feeling that Vernardo will be in foul trouble within the first 10 minutes of the game, if they call the game right. This is also the 4th game for MSU, they will be losing their legs and those prayer 3s that they have been hitting will stop falling.. Volunteers for the win.

same to you.. just giving my opinion. Tennessee has been playing outstanding basketball... mississippi state has been "sliding by." Again, the officiating has been questionable to say the least in benefit of MSU.. hopefully ti'll be called right and if it is, Tennessee wins in a blowout.

Kind of how Syracuse was supposed to lose their legs after playing a 6 OT game?? Miss State wins this game outright. The only matchup b/n these 2 : Tenn won by 5 @ home. Now they are giving up 5 points on a neutral court to a MSU team that has beaten all 3 of its opponents by dd. MSU just beat an LSU team that has beaten Tenn in Knoxville. Tenn is already in the tourny and MSU has to win. MSU will ride the emotional wave to victory today. Seen this too many times.. Miss State by 7-10\

PS- I played Baseball @ MSU for a few years so I am kind of a homer here!!!

I really like getting 5 points here. These two teams are evenly matched IMO, and maybe Miss State has an edge with the dominant Vernando in the paint.

I watched the game at Tennessee... Tennessee clearly outplayed MSU.. MSU hit some of those miracle threes late in the game to get it to 5... it was stretched out to 11 with about 3 minutes to go. Tennessee wasn't playing very well at the time either... their last couple games they've played extremely well. MSU is NIT bound... Tennessee wins by 10+. Syracuse doesn't rely on the 3-ball like Mississippi State does. Mississippi State shoots more 3s then any team in the country... I never made that argument about cuse, i rode them throughout the tournament.. but with a team that mainly depends on the 3 ball, it's a great argument... they won't fall today..

good luck.. like i said, if he gets by with hacking players on the inside and hooking players everytime he gets the ball, MSU has a chance.. otherwise, Tennessee large.

when did I say that? I think we should get in if 3 teams are taken from the SEC but likely only 2 teams are getting in.

before the lines were posted i thought this would be closer to a pk or tenn -1 maybe. 5 pts is a gift in my opinion to a team that could very well win this outright. good luck today
