Texas is a top 10 team and a legit threat to make it to the final 4. They play pressure defense which Villanova has not seen yet this year. I know Reynolds can handle the ball and will be effective regardless of the defense but every other position Texas has better players and far more athletic players. I have seen both teams play several times this year and really think Texas should be a bigger favorite than they are. Neutral court close to the Philadelphia area will help the Wildcats but in the end wont be enough.
Davidson has the best pure shooter in the game who has already shown he can share the rock and be unselfish. Taking Curry out of the game does not mean anything (winning by 30 earlier this season when Curry scored 0) they have good role players who played deep into the tournament last year so playing at the Garden wont be a problem for them.
Virginia Tech seems like a real easy pick. Plain and simple, V-Tech is athletic and can score and they showed their toughness in a close game against Wisconsin. Georgia on the other hand is very bad. I mean very bad, they lost by 34 to Illinois team which recently only beat Hawaii by 10 points. Tech should win this by double digits easily.
