Atlanta's Mike Minor may have used Spring Training to refine some things but he is 6-0 1.98 ERA in his last eight starts. Minor is also 1-1 1.72 ERA in his last three starts vs. Miami. The Braves overall are on a five game win streak and have chalked up wins over Miami in six consecutive matchups and hold a 16 of 19 games advantage in the series. Gattis and Upton have had the best bats as of late going a combined 8 for 16 last night with two HR's and four RBI's in last night's game. Miami is on a four game skid and have only scored 16 runs in the 2013 season with a team average of .175 with Runners In Scoring Position. Stanton does have two HR's vs. Minor career but is only .154 this season with no RBI's. Sanabia made 14 starts for the Marlins in the 2010-2011 season but spent last year in the Minor Leagues. In his last outing, Sanabia allowed six hits in six scoreless innings. Sanabia has not faced the Braves since 2010 but does have a 3.86 ERA in three starts vs. Atlanta but received no decisions. With a win tonight, Atlanta will have back to back sweeps and a perfect 3-0 road record. Miami is still trying to find an offensive breakthrough but may have major headaches if Minor can duplicate his numbers from past performances. Source: ESPN MLB Preview.
