As a longtime resident of Minnesota and follower of the Gophers I see this Gopher team as truly unique. they have two excellent running backs and a huge offensive line. The quarterback also finally has some passing ability as opposed to previous years running qb's. This team actually has a chance to win the Big Ten with the favorable schedule (don't play Purdue or Ohio State). Although in past Gophers have struggled against NorthWestern I believe they roll tonight.

Hanson is a very knowledgable capper and if he can provide some additional insight (also local to Minneapolis area) it may shed more insight to this game

thanks mickey. i soooo want to play this game -- talent wise it's another mismatch gophers by 22. the big caveat here is the gophers focus. last week was a BIG win for the program, but they have to let it go and keep the momentum flowing here.

i am not worried about basanez, philmore, and fields; i'm not saying they are not going to get theirs in this contest -- i'm saying who gives a F--k! they won't be able to keep up w/ the goph off.

mason plans on using his big o line and pound the ball, keeping the wildcat off off the field as much as possible -- should be about 42-20 type a deal. there are a lot of respectable cappers going the other way here -- scares me a bit.

There will definitely be some drunk guys from the Chicago area visiting the Twin Cities pretending to be in the mob. Byten o clock the usually lying on the floor in local bars.

I think Minnesota needs a big break in the second quarter of this game. If they get it they will roll. Down to 14 +100 with a lot of 900 number guys on it. Minny -14 small.

pass -- i think it finishes close to where it is at right now!!! i called the gophs by 22 i'll stick to that. 2nd half gophers get up by 30-somethin or so then the wildcats cut it to twenty-somethin in garbage -- no value here in the 2nd as far as i'm concerned! but then again i am drunk:drink:

Everyone was still standing at the Sports bar in the mall of America as of halftime. That's a good sign. Wish that little squirmy quarterback on NW would have been hurting a little longer though.
