remember when trev alberts and mark may were asked if the gophers were pretenders or contenders? i think the ? was answered. they are major pretenders when it comes to playing good teams. the badgers are a good team. the gophers will lose. mason is awful, they will somehow, someway find a way to lose. they always do. -8 ?? hell i cant figure that out. i think its stealing if you take the 8.

this coming from a fellow minnesotan. i cant believe i just said what i said, but mason will do that to ya.

good luck

The aspect everybody might be overlooking here is that the Badgers should have a helluva passing game themselves. Lee Evans could be a high NFL draft pick and Brandon Wiliiams, Jonathan Orr and Charles all have shown they can catch the ball. With a week off, Sorgi supposively healthy, just watch Wisconsin come out throwing when Minnesota has been foaming at the mouth in anticipation of stopping the running game that tore them a new a-hole last year at Camp Randall.

Thanks for the info. I have been looking at Minnesota this week and it only makes it easier to take them in this one. Definitely agree with or without Davis playing, this one will go over the 55.

If disingenuous is the word you`re blindly groping for that hardly applies to something as objective as stats, none of which BTW were "obscure". Forget the stats my "point" was Khaliq is a good not great col. QB. And considering the D we have 8-2 @ this pt. is about what I expected. Anyone thinking Sorgi would be a better fit for this team is mistaken and "disingenuous". Looks like all the experts are on Wi., the M&G might just as well stay in the locker rm. And yes Mason does in fact suck. Well enough squabling luck to all you players today!

i wasn't blindly groping, maybe a little drunk grope and hit a typo -- were you blindly groping for the word "squabblling" -- didn't your mother ever tell you not to throw stones???

anyway, you said he is the "highest rated passer in the nation....higher than white and leinhart..." thus the inference that he is "the best" that is why i corrected you.

perhaps, if it was wriiten properly i wouldn't have come to that logical illation. perhaps, we can just agree to diagree. i just know i've followed this kid since high school out east when mason began recruiting him, and i've never seen the talent????

mason has never recruited a qb. i do agree with the defense -- it aslo sucks! hasn't been the same since we lost gibbs!!!

Actually my Mom taught me never to stow thrones as they could fall on your head. No need for an attempt to correct since there was no error, he IS rated #1. No he is not the best, nor is he the worst. Would I rather have Smoker, sure but we got what we got! If by some miracle we could ever attract a top 5 QB recruit I would be elated. As far as the gm I also think 8-8.5 is too much. I`m on the over for a small $$ amount. Goofers 38-35 or some such. Luck to all.
