So it looks like I'm down to around 13-5. I might be forgetting a play or two but I think this is pretty close to accurate
NU has been playing good defense for the most part since the Illini game and OSU hasn't exactly been lighting it up offensively (their last game against the Illini was pretty painful.) I think NU should be able to keep OSU from putting up a big point total with their defense and their slow pace offensively. I also think the Cats (in particualar Drew Crawford) are due to make some shots. He's coming off one of his worst shooting games ever. He's too good for that to continue. Also Jershon Cobb is playing his best basketball of his career. This is the kind of game NU wins... the games when the expectations are down and the pressure is off. Conversely when the hype starts to build that is when they lay in egg (see Nebraska game). Gotta run.
