How many times have they lost 12 in a row to same opponent? 11 ? 10 ? Seems like if you went with this mindset, you'd have been betting Indiana the last couple of games in the series and losing. Not trying to be argumentative, I just have never understood the decades (or century) long trends focused on one school...there's 100% turnover every 4 years (players wise at least). Now, if someone says that in the history of college basketball (amongst all teams) a team wins the 13th game after 12 straight series losses at a 80% clip, that might mean something to me, though probably not because there is no perceivable logic behind even that such hypothetical stat.
