On the final play of the game, Mike Martz calls a FB dive to Michael Robinson that failed. Bad call, yes, is that the reason they lost though?

Mike Singeltary's defense got pissed on for 330 yards from Warner as the Cards were marching down the field at will all game, only to be stopped by a horrible offensive pass interference call on a key drive.

If the Refs had let the first called back TD stand, the cards would have won and cover. I wonder if the NBA sent their " special" refs to call this game.

Singeltary's defense gets pissed on all game, and he blames Martz for the loss? Pull your pants up and take the loss like a man!

This game was very similar to the Denny Green meltdown on MNF.

In all fairness.....the Cardinal offense pisses on everybody.

Were you talking about the bad offensive PI call on Boldin or a TD being called back?

This game was very similar to the Denny Green meltdown on MNF.
Except for this is Singeltary's 2nd game as a head coach and Denny Green was in the hundreds.
Not really the same thing.

looked to me like the niners werent well coached. i really like singeltary, and wish him well. maybe he needs more time. last night, there were too many penalties and mistakes. and, at the end, why not spike the ball, get organized, and run a 4th down play? they had time to spike it, but the last play looked rushed and not very well organized. imo.

maybe he should have went for it on that one 4th down they were disagreeing on >:) cuz then a FG would have won them the game.

I was talking about the horrible PI call AND the Rolle INT touchdown backflip called back.

If Wilson was really over the line, then why didn't they throw the flag initially, why didn't they blow the play dead? Why did the flag come out after the score? BULLLLL SHIT.

The coach themselves are different, yes, but the way the game was played has similarities to the Bears/Cards a few years ago. Nobody even thought it would be a game, the underdog was ahead most of the game, and the Favorite pulled it out at the VERY end of the game.

Mike didn't melt down, but the game reminded me of past.

I had the 49ers and all game long i kept waiting for them to blow it as well.As bad as the play calling was for the 49ers at the end there were several drives by the cards tht raised the play calling issue especially when third and long first half they opted for a run as opposed to a pass where San fran was getting exploited. When ever San fran brought pressure or not those crossing routes were open all night seems like Arizona was glad to win but not very hungary.

The reason why it was so familiar was because it was rigged....

What do Denny Green and Mike Singeltary have in common?
You got it buddy, no need to answer.

Green and Singeltary, take a look in the mirror and you'll get a good picture as to why your team's lost those particular games.

As I said early that Singletary shows off to people who is the boss when he sent his player to shower in his first coaching game.Any kind of anger should only use inside the lockers room. I thought he did it when the game was out of reach when SF were losing big.
Did he do it to the same player who took the helmet off and a 15 yard penalty last week vs Ariz? Nope. Absolutely not, because SF were UP by 4 (24-20) that time.
Two stupid penalties on the same player, but two diff reaction.

Martz called the last play to fvck his Head Coach over.

Both of those SOB are sh*t anyway.

Mike Singletary I liked as a player. But as a Coach, he showed Zero leadership quality when he blew his top in his first game by sending his player to the Shower before the game ended. He lost it then and won't ever won the trusts from his players again.

Praise in Public, Reprimand in Private

is the true quality in leadership that will gain you respects and loyalty from your subbordinates. And Mike Singletary lost it then and there on Natl TV.

Ivan, if you implied "looking in the mirror" as to their skin color, then you've lost it yourself !!!!

They are two individuals with common skin color, but still two individuals. You can't equate "looking in the mirror" to losing their team in the middle of the season are you?:ohno:

Look, you've got to give Singletary credit, the Niners came out with fire in their guts, they played harder than they have in years. Singletary and Martz won't last long together. I can't think of 2 more dissimilar coaching styles. Singletary is old school and will want to ram it down your throat and Martz is classic west coast run and gun. Singletary will get the respect of his players, his meltdown was a plus in my book. He's not going to take any half assed efforts from his players and will win them over. Martz will be gone shortly IMO and the Niners will be better off in the long run. When he gets his message across to his players and gets the players he needs to run his type of ball they will be tough. Mark my words, Singletary will lead them to the promised land and Martz will be long gone. Yes, it is unusual to call a player out in public the way he did and not save it for the lockerroom but I for one think it was effective. He sent the message loud and clear that bonehead plays will not be tolerated and mark my words HE WILL WIN THE COMPLETE RESPECT OF HIS TEAM. They will probably remake the team in his image and it will be far more effective than MartZ's methods. The man is as intense as anyone. Remember his glare when he was playing. He instills fear and respect and you couldn't ask for a better coach for a soft team like the Niners IMO. Watch and see. And it goes without saying that the color of his skin is irrelevant. That was an ignorant comment. He is an old school man's man and will get everything from his players. I live in Balto. but I am now a Niner's fan. I predict 3 years and they will have the horses to compete with the best in the league.

So basically you like Mike Singeltary because he is a "yeller" and wants "winners".

There have been a dime a dozen "yellers" and "no nonsense" coaches that have failed. You don't win games because you humilate your players in public and yell at them to not make stupid penalties.

Mike Martz might not be my favorite head coach, but to dismiss his play calling abilities and coaching style is a joke. Mike Martz was the direct reason the St. Louis rams went from worst to first and won the damn super bowl. He knows NFL offenses like so few do.

Mike Singeltary still hasn't proved anything as a coach, except that he can squander games his team should have won, and that he can humiliate players he targets.
