you are a dumb fat coach.....you have THE MVP as your qb.......and you sat on a lead and tried to milk the whole 2h.....your def had a good game plan and that's how you repay them....if you try and score a td in the 2h you prob take the air out of the stadium...but you call a very CONSERVATIVE 2h and cost your team a trip to the SB...congrats!!! you get the dumbest coach award!!! ya I know if you recover the os kick.....but it shoulda never came to that.....sorry pack fans you deserve that win....but your coach left his balls in gbay!!!

Agreed. People focus on the mistakes like the onsides but what a fuckin lame plan they had for the second half. How bout going for it one time on fourth and one ? They played the last four minutes like they were gonna take a knee.

I have to agree......That is a brutal loss.....Championship caliber team blowing a 19-7 lead with a few minutes left in the game is bad news.

Should be fired for his calls in the last quarter of the game.

I have been a packer fan my whole life and i have to say this is the worst choke i have ever seen. When you have a team down like they did you keep em down and run it up.

I said this exact same thing last weekend when he erroneously didn't go for 2 against the Cowboys. He made several Game Management mistakes today as he typically does in every game he coaches. These type mistakes get magnified in single game one and done scenarios as you're going up against playoff caliber competition. His mind simply isn't quick enough to process the information at hand to make the required correct split second decisions that arise at critical junctures in certain games. Consistency is good, stubbornness and inflexibility are short sighted and won't get your team to the finish line. Wake up Mike!

I thought McCarthy was going waayyy to conservative in the 3rd qrtr. He has the best QB on the planet and starts playing like he is scared to lose in the 3rd QUARTER!

He is a good coach but that was totally confusing. I am sure he will bring this up during the upcoming week.

Seeing where you are from and your comments, I thought you were saying this about Mike Smith....now he was one of the worst in the league and the Falcons will be better now that he is gone.

Completely agree with you. Mike Smith was worse at Game Management than Mike McCarthy is. McCarthy can get away with many of his mistakes because his QB is one of the best of all time and his supporting cast is decent as well. Mike Smith was a ticking time bomb; good coach, great Man, but terrible Head Coach/Game Manager.

The Packers would likely be going for their third Super Bowl this year during the Rodgers era if they had a solid coach. McCarthy is an absolute bonehead year in and year out.

Not going for 2 last week was the correct decision, we talked about it last week. If you don't understand why, then just drop it.

Today, he was a joke. Inside the 5 twice, settle for 2 FGs. 2nd half play calling a joke.

Then to call out the kid Bostick after the game, saying he didn't do his job. Pathetic leadership skills. Thats not why they lost.

Not mccarthys fault. Cmon now. He had his guys in place all game to win.

INT by morgan burnett with 5 min left he decides to slide instead of keep running..possibly a pick 6 but they start celebrating too early. I've never seen that. Craziest game I've ever witnessed prolly

If you go back and watch it over again you still don't think it is possible. The INT slide is gonna go down in history. Morgan Burnett

Thats what I couldn't figure out. He got the pick, had guys out front of him and he runs 2 yards and slides. Then they run 3 plays like there is 30 seconds on the clock then punt. Pathetic........

Couldn't understand him going down either. And also agree that McCarthy was terrible. This is the NFL! When u get a chance to step on an opponents throat you do it!! As much as I hate Bilicheat, he takes the approach that he never has enough!! Packer fans got robbed!
