Mike Emrick- Is anyone better?

I am big Gary Thorne fan, but is anyone better than Mike Emrick, the guy is top-notch, he makes the game even better, with delivery style.

marv albert in his day was much better at calling
a hockey game. doc gets way over-excited too easliy,
misses a few details about the action, and miscalls a few
many players for my taste. he does bring a lot of excitement
to the game, so if you like him and his style then i say
"right on".

Love Doc, Marv was every bit his equal.
Dan Kelly was one of the all time greats, Rosen and Clement come to mind also.

the announcer for the canucks, don't know his name, is great for
calling the play quickly and acurately, adding excitement, and
giving insight into what is happening without ever forgetting
that the play is still going on. he really is the best out there now
IMHO.

Agree with Dan Kelly.....also Bob Cole from CBC WAS* good....he just got to old now and turned into Pat Summerall....thats sad...but back in the day him and Danny Galivan were voices of hockey growing up in Detroit watching Hockey Night In Canada....Chris Cuthbert is good too...he's on TSN....sometimes when Versus picks up their feed you will hear him...But right now Jim Hughson with CBC who is their lead guy, is just BRUTAL....unwatchable....Id take a terrible Bob Cole and Harry Neale over Hughson.....Thorne was good and Emrick is just fine.....We have Ken Daniels Mickey Redmond here in Detroit......I really dont like Redmond for color, too much of a homer...but I guess thats what people want nowadays...I just want the game called.....its not just this sport, but all sports....
