I'm not a huge fan of boxing but my wife is, we're going to watch this fight at the Casino tonight. She had me bet on Cotto, cause that's who she likes in this fight. Anyone boxing experts have any insight on this fight?

Alavrez has the reach and a much better fighter..

but cotto is a solid of boxer as they come. he has freddy roach working him still, that's turned around his career.
if you betting cotto youre probably rooting for way less of a brawl and more of a mayweather style fight, defense and counter punching.

I did Cotto to win in less than 12 for +600 and Avarez by decision -200.

Figured either cotto would come out swinging fierce, or he'd lose but has a tough chin and go the distance no matter what.
