Just picked up Athlon's college hoops magazine. That means that the Blue Ribbon Yearbook's not to far behind. Midnight Madness is coming. I can't wait.

Line,
It should be a treat to watch Bobby Knight on the local sports every nite. But my J-Hawks will rule the Big 12.

Peace

ACE,

I am originally from Nebraska so you know our team sucks, and the JAYHAWKS are my team also.

Just couldn't pass up the chance to see Knight, Jayhawks come to town on Valentines day also.

KU to win the National Championship

Line,

As i said before seeing Bobby Knight would be a treat. One would never know when he will blow and that in itself would be worth the price of admission.

The Jayhawks are loaded with a veteran class as well as a tremendous incoming class. As you know this is their second year of experience running the high/low offense, which should be becoming second nature. I look forward to the KU/MU game as well as the KU/OSU game. Another game i will be looking forward to is the spanking KU will be giving Texas.

Peace

I'll hijack in here since the original poster brought it up. What type of yearbooks are out there?

Is the Blue Ribbon yearbook a good purchase? Is it available in bookstores? (i'm guessing the gamblers book store perhaps)

bhg,

I like the usual mags...Street and Smith, Sporting News and Athlon's. I really like Blue Ribbon, but they ship very late. Blue Ribbon will ship 10-20-04. It's a big read, around 300 pages. Since i don't have a life, i'll read most of the publication.

Gambler's Bookstore should have it. Blue Ribbon sells through their own website. Blueribbonyearbook.com

Hope you enjoy it.

Peace

Thanks Ace, I'll be sure to pick it up. I've got a long train ride during the workday so there's time to spare.

I've picked up Athlon's and Sporting News already. Sporting News is a little more updated especially with the schedule. Athlon should have the full schedule up at athlonsports.com sometime soon they said. Looks like its a .pdf file.

I do not know if TTU season ticket holders get dibs on tickets for the Iowa game in Dallas, but I will have to look. Thanks for pointing that out.
