Never understood why a middler would torment themselves by sweating a close finish. What is the name of a famous poster who thought ever middle that didn't fall was a fixed game? Great way to grow old early is to sweat the last minute of a hoops game you need to land on a couple of numbers. Don't hear much of this because many of the pros don't post anymore like they did in the old days. Didn't try to middle this game but I had Hou +7' tonight and almost cried when it went to OT, sure enough they got down by 10 only to lose by 7, I will take it.

Not a big sweat middling. You can't lose a lot. Personally I almost always bet unequal amounts when middling.

There's always next year, like in 75, 90-93, 99 &

Randy,
As Doug said, there is little risk. I think you have the wrong perception of middlers.

FOOLISH:

My next two posts will show you why:

risking 25$ to win 1000 or +4000 that the game will end on exactly 7 with Houston losing is not a bad bet IMHO

Redused juice shops have changed the face of middling. I have played 2 numbers just playing to catch a side if the juice is right. My point was that you can't sweat this type play. One of the most articulate and funny posters in history use to lament that the NBA was fixed because his middles didn't hit. SportSavent I recall a post a while back where you were short in your Pinny account and couldn't take advantage of a play. The key to winning every year is having a big BR and having it spread out to the best outs that give you either reducrd juice or diff numbers. I have never had a better arsenal than now. Looselines has -105 Coll hoops totals, check them out. You study this and are sharp. Leave yor winnings offshore build your BR and you will win much more.

How do you know what the "returns" are for middlers?
