Microsoft Security Updates? (Be carefull)

I just received what is a spam or virus type email from what looked to be Microsoft Corp. It had file to open to fix all the latest flaws in microsoft windows. (I did not open the attachment, but went to the microsoft Update page where it check your system for critical updates. It found none.
So just a warning--the "FRUITCAKES" ate at it again. It gets old , almost as old as this damn diet my doctor just put me on!!!

MICROSOFT does not send emails from a mocrosoft address. So avoid any that refer to microsoft.

Correct me if im wrong.

Correct you are!
That e-mail from "Microsoft" is actually an e-mail worm virus.
If you read it carefully, you will see that the grammar is incorrect! lmao
Delete it immediately.

There is a serious Flaw in Windows that can be even more critial then the Blaster virus.

I. Bet,
I just looked at the site you have listed above. I don't see Windows 98se listed as one that should download. Now just last week on the Windows update page, when it checked my system, it fadded a "critical" update, but nothing showed up at all today. That page you have listed looks like it is for servers-Hell I don't know.

oldmantime - The above link takes you to the correct page with links to the proper patch to download. And it's for Personal computers and servers etc.

BUT the thing is.....this security flaw doesn't apply to Windows 98...so you got lucky...you're OK.
