Line is currently MSU -15. Was just announced that IU will be starting a true frosh at QB. This will be his first snap from center in a game. They lost their starting QB in the second quarter last week and the back up who came in and finished the game and was announced on Tuesday as this weeks starter now won't play. No reason given.
They have virtually no one to play QB if this kid gets hurt. And MSU's D can definitely put some hurt on a QB.
This should be a 3 td win for the Spartans. Also look for MSU to really try to finish strong this week after the 4th quarter letdowns the last two weeks.

That frosh starting was announced yesterday. Anyone ever heard of Little Big Horn? Another massacre is gonna take place. GLTA

Looks like the backup QB was 3-12 for 31 yards and 2 INTs in last weeks loss to Iowa after Sudfeld went down, yikes. Expect a heavy dose of Tevin Coleman. Potential look ahead spot for Sparty to Michigan the following week though.

IU announcer says that the Redshirt freshman is not ready. He says, he is going to struggle. I see lots of tipped balls, as he is listed at 6 feet 175 but is more like 5'11". I would say lay the juice and buy down to MSU -7 First half. Gonna take at least 2 Qs for that QB to get the feel for it, ESP with MSU run D. Stack the box and make him beat you!

Under might be the play here. Solution to a weak backup QB is to run the ball and slow the game down by controlling time of possession as much as you can. Might be the Hoosiers game plan and if it is and they don't get buried early then Under 59 might be good. Just a thought.

I agree with this play. IU will run the ball and throw short safe passes. This could easily be a 42-14 type game.

Key point IMO, because now is not the time for MSU to keep half-assing their way to the finish line of games. They damn near blew big leads against Nebraska and Purdue, which won't look good to the pollsters. MSU can make the final four, but their performances will need to pick up if they want to leapfrog several of the teams above them. Oregon is also knocking on the final 4 door again now that their OL is healthy...and they are MSU's only loss, so Sparty needs to do whatever it can to stay ahead of them.

I realize the offense can slow down once they build a multi-TD lead by running the ball and killing the clock, but there's never an excuse for the defense to stop playing hard. Don't think Indiana will have much scoring success this week. MSU should cruise.

95% of the money on MSU and the line is stuck at 15. Something doesn't smell right here.
