They're up by 8 on the road to a team that beat Duke, UCLA and played the whole game close with UConn ON THE TOAD. Yeah, Mich St sucks though.

Do you feel good that they will win the big ten and they have no shot at a championship at all. UNC smacked them and would do so again..You better hope they don't get paired in their bracket..or with any other big east or acc team...I'm not a mich st hater at all I just don't think they are good this year. Lucas is good but when you have guys like Chris Allen getting significant minutes your in trouble
Okay so they have no chance of winning the title..don't understand why that makes them overrated.
There are really at max 5 teams that have a legit shot at winning the title. Anyone else would be a complete shock. North Carolina wins the title at least half the time if you play it 100 times, and other teams with a shot are Pitt (second best), Ville, UConn and maybe Duke if they get the calls in the tourney and get really hot shooting.
Other than those teams I can't see anyone else winning it all, and even Duke I'd be pretty damn surprised. UConn I already have said I don't think they make the final four, but I'd put them as a top 5 team.
Really though UNC should win it all this year rather easily, with Pitt having the second best shot.
And they were without Suton. Not saying they win with Suton in that game, but it would have been much closer. And you would know that MSU always comes on strong come tourney time.
Is that your whole justification too? They lost big to UNC early in the year? Yeah the Big Bad Big East, I keep hearing about them every year until MSU beats them in the tourney, every year.
I'm not expexcting them to win it all this year, but a B10 title and a deep tourney run. I realy thought they'd struggle in B10 play this year too, I thought they were a year away.
They will be back in the Final Four in the next 2 years though. Count on it.
First off, sweet 16 is nothing to be mad at considering that team. (You may call them overrated last year but I didnt think they had much depth and was happy with the win over Pitt.) Second, you conveniently left out the year just before those where they made a remarkable run to the Final Four. Third, that has no bearing on this year and this crop of athletes. I'm not sure how far they go in the tourney this year, but they will make ANOTHER Final Four run within the next 2 years, mark it down.
