I don’t live in Columbus anymore but the OSU fans I know out west feel similarly despite the on field success — though he annoyed us a bit with his one-dimensional offense at times and tendency to lose weird games (like to iowa or Purdue) in the midst of great seasons

Day has had his faults in The Game but he is by all accounts a great person and he’s had his own share of success — at minimum doesn’t lose to shitty teams ever
