I haven't seen many thoughts on the Michigan game this weekend, so here we go...

1st game vs. Western Mich- great start, fizzled out 2nd half...Michigan's offensive focus waned but defense still played well, also switching out quarterbacks constantly wasn't helping their rhythm. Forcier came out the better, and started the next game vs....

Notre Dame- Played a tough game that wasn't particularly full of mistakes. Big, emotional home win that skyrocketed this team's confidence. If they were going on the road now I would be concerned, but they stay at home for...

Eastern Mich - Inter-county rivalry (yeah right) against a poor Eastern team from Shitsilanti. Forcier has the starting job for real now, and he and the team have shown that they can play this season. Don't think that they will let up this week because it's only Eastern...Rich Rod still has a lot of compensating to do for last season, and the team is out to prove every week that Michigan is a contender for the Big 10 title.

Michigan rolls this weekend, and will cover 24 points. BOL :toast:

Michigan is a young team not used to success. This is a sandwich game between two big rivalry games. This reeks of a Michigan letdown. Take the points if anything.

mich has shutout eastern mich in 6 out of last 8 meetings. Eastern mich got smoked by army and played well in the 2h vs northwestern. I think Rich will run up the score if he can, as he tries to continue building steam for this young and new michigan style program.

Eastern played at UM a couple of years ago and got drilled. None of those let down/rivalry/overlook theories stopped the emus from an ass-kicking back then.

Last time the Eagles visited Michigan Stadium (2007 - Henne and Hart's senior years) they gave us a pretty good game, losing 22-33. Many of the same players are still on Eastern, while Michigan has completely overhauled their roster since.

I'd wait until 11:55 to place my bet and just collect as many points as you can on EMU. There is very little motivation for Michigan to run up the score and it's appears that Michigan has circled the MSU game in 2 weeks thinking EMU and IU will be pushovers.

Kind of hope that Eastern gives us a game here. Rather see Tate have his "freshman game" against them than in East Lansing.
