So yesterday's picks were eh at best, with my bigger wagers losing, and would have been positive for the day except I decided to go big on 2nd half Golden st, which backfired in my face...so gonna get back at it today, hopefully with some solid picks...
Yesterday: Knicks +3 2 units LOST
Phili -4 1.5 units LOST
Denver -3 1.5 units WON
Utah over 190 1 unit LOST
Lakers -6 1 unit WON
ATL +4 1.5 units WON
Detroit under 197 1 unit WON
taking Utah over 97.5 2nd half 1 unit LOST
Denver -2 2nd half 1 unit WON
Golden St ph 2nd half 2.5 units LOST
Golden St over 102 2nd half 1.5 units WON
6-5-0 -1.19 units
YTD:
YTD: 22-20-1 -1.69 units Boy that's sad hahaha
NOTE: From now on, going to post number TO WIN (therefore, when I wager 2 units, it will be TO WIN two units, therefore costing 2.2 units to play with -110 Juice...hopefully will make my record a lot easier to grade and track!!!!)
Hornets pk 1st half: 2 units I like this because as I started my NBA betting career last year, there was a trend I noticed with the Lakers, and it still seems to hold true for the most part: the Lakers start slow. and I mean, SLOWWWW Versus bad teams especially, probably because they do not take their opposition seriously, but I think that with the B2B ( i know they were 6-1 or something ATS last season, got that from a fellow capper here), as well as Hornet's having something to prove after going on a little skid, I think the Hornets playing at home will come out with a lot more energy than they have been seen with recently
Hawks +6 1st half 1 unit Starting to notice a trend (no data to support this, sorry not THAT good of a capper yet!) where underdogs seem to stick with a team for the first half, then inevitably fall apart in the 2nd.... Something that I think I will try to exploit over the next few weeks...with that said, the line for the game is 10.5, where as we are getting 6 for the 1st half...I will take that extra pt or so, as I expect the Hawks to not back down from the C's in the first meeting since the playoffs last year..I know they got trashed each time in Boston, but this Hawks team is starting to show they have the personel to win games even if a star has an off-night...Although I do think that the C's will win this game with their depth, I like ATL to actually hold their own for most of it...
Indi -1.5 2 unit Just think the line is too short here, should be Indi -3 or 3.5 due to Harris being out, will wait until the last moment to see if Harris is indeed playing, if he is then I won't count it, otherwise I will
MY "I'm GONNA REGRET THIS BET": PHILI over 184 2 units I think eventually Phili is gonna get going, and while I probably should stay away from this team until they begin to see the light, I think this line is about 3 pts too low....187 or 188 is what I would have it, but with the last couple of games of Phili struggling, I see a lot of value in this....
BETS SO FAR:
Hornets pk 1st half 2 units
Hawks +6 1st half 1 unit
Indi -1.5 2 units
Phili over 184 2 units
ALL COMMENTS WELCOME, wish I could get some more people in my threads to discuss plays with!!!!
