Thanks Ted, I have not done my own DD until now, and this is why my thread. I think with this information, and adding in the fact that this is MIAMI's first year in ...........then I WOULD EXPECT them to LOVE POUNDING VTECH.....They are the much more talented team. As a alumni of VT, I believe Tech has this game as long as their is pressure on Berlin. Jim Davis and Jonthan Lewis should be able to force him to make some bad passes. I also believe that Tech's defense is better than Miami's. Miami's defense has not played up to par this year. Antrelle Rolle is an amazin player but he's been strugglin.
I truly believe that this game is going to be on the quarterbacks because both defenses are going to stop the run. This is about whether Berlin or Randall wants it more. As a person who used to talk to Randall in class, I can tell you that the man is very competitve and will do what it takes to win. Randall has a very young receiving core, so this could come down to the maturity of the receivers and performances in big games. Tech's receivers are definitely feeling the pressure.
Beamerball has only blocked one punt all season which is a season low, but have blocked multiple field goals. This could be the deciding factor of the game.
My bet is VT because I think Randall wants it more and the freshman receivers are goin to try to get it for him in his last season.

I love the Canes in this spot, Miami is as healthy on defense as they have been all season and have been stout the last couple of games. Miami will be playing with revenge from last years debacle in blacksburg, so they will be up. Last home game for Berlin, he will want to go out in style. Got to go with the Canes here. Will Beamer challenge his special teams and kick to Hester?

They can keep single covereage with the inexperienced V-tech WR's. Randall will make some plays, but in no why will Miami not move the ball today. Gore and Miami will run for it's 150. Also in my opinion V-tech has not seen an O like this all year. USC was first game of the year and Brock Berlin is playing as good as any QB in the nation.
