miami has florida state up next - keep that in mind. also - miami is something like 1-6 ATS L7 @ home.

NO WAY i lay it - but not real anxious to take it, either.

I agree, I couldn't lay it, and now im battling with myself over if I even want to take it. West Virginia is a better team then they've showed, they've got a great running game and a good QB. They've had a week off so you have to think they'll be a little more prepared.

wvu should be ready to go. this week they are reshuffling there whole o-line. also they will get back starting cornerback B.king who missed the Maryland game with back spams. The team will have a walk through today and tomarrow at miami. they left morgantown at about 9:00 am. Also, something that wvu has yet to do this year is throw the deep ball. They made a few wr adjustments by starting wr chris henry who is the fastest on the team. the reason Im saying this is he is 6'5 and can jump so dont be suprised if wvu beats miami deep 1or 2 times and that they just throw the ball up to him and let him go up and get it. They moved wr M. Henderson to the inside slot position so it could create an opportunity for henry. .....also with miami having fla. st. on deck i'll gladly take the points...miami by 17-20......

This is a great example of what makes this forum the place to be for betting info. I was leaning toward WV anyway, but now I'm all over it!

I usually subscribe to the "take the dog if you think they can win SU" but this one is tempting. Good thoughts - I believe WVU has the running game to at least keep it somewhat close.

I remember watching Miami play ECU on national television and it looked like they were looking past that game to the BC game the next week. They didn't cover the spread that game. I'm wondering if they might be looking to FSU next week like ground hog said and won't cover this big spread.

WVU will be pumped to play in this big game and I think they will keep the game closer than 26 1/2 points.

I will with the Miami -26.5 there's no way that Miami won't cover this game. Miami playing at home and they will trying to show off their nice shinning ass to their school fans. West Virginia will lose it big at Miami House!!!
Trust me and bet together, cash in on friday!! See ya all in Bank!!
My Pick:
Miami -26

I think we are forgetting one big thing here guys, West Virginia is not your average team, West Virginia is certainly not ECU, West Virginia is a dangerous team that loves to run and run and run, and when that no longer works, they keep on running. This team is solid. Miami is a powerhouse yes, but the Mountaineers are actually pretty good. I think Miami has to be careful here. I say Miami by 10.

Slim, Miami by 10??? C'mon, Miami may not cover the number in this game but Miami by 10???

Miami is a far superior team than West Virginia and West Virginia will not have much luck running the ball. They can only hope for Berlin to toss them a few gifts.

My problem with betting Miami is that Coker does not run up scores so the backdoor potential always looms. Coker will bring in the second stringers and than have them run the ball.

I predict Miami wins by 21-24 points in this one.

I like WV.For MIA to cover the number they need to get up 42 by early in the third.I promise you;they will rest their players for FSU next week.WV may not cover but no way could I ever bet MIA in this spot. This game has back door cover written all over it.

the one thing that scares me the most is when miami does put in the bench. These kids can't sit on it and WV gives up 394 in total yards and Miami is dropping 418 a again. The really bad thing is WV is giving up a whopping 188rushing yards a game. 4.2 a carry. Gore and payton should have huge days, which opens up the passing game. I just don't see a way Miami is slowed tonight. I think Miami does get there 40 pts. maryland out gained them by 342 yds. Wisc by almost a150yds. I think this game gets out of hand early like the BC game Miami up 17-0 early or 24-7 early. SOmething like that. This game I see 41-17 or something like that right around the number, but Miami can score on D or special teams and there it goes. it seems like a no play, but I like the over. The other thing is those FLA kids love showing the talent on national TV

Hi guys don't post much here but I'm a Miami fan and remember that they were trailing WV late in the 3rd Q last year.. They might remember too and not look past them...Looks like a no touch on the side (still dont trust Berlin..but Gore might not need him) and a little on the over for me.

For those of you hanging your hat on Miami's home field dominance, I wouldn't take it too far. Remember what the Gators did to Miami for 3 quarters in the Orange Bowl and quite honetly the Gators are not a good ball club. And lets not forget that if for some reason Miami doesn't dominate this team their fans will probably start booing them and eventually leave. Just a thought...

I think with Miami having Florida State up next and W. Virginia having the time off that WV definitely will be more focused, not to say that they will go in and win straight up but I can see a lot tighter game than most might expect..A Miami win of 17 to 21 points is realistic with WV keeping it close until the 4 th quarter. Probably could wait closer to game time to get more than the 25.5 hoping that Joe Public hits Miami hard..Just my opinion, hope everyone hits what they play..
