Well because with this wager you are much more safe if something crazy happens and the Heat somehow get knocked out, you then still have OKC (and San Antonio) who will more than likely get through and I believe the Thunder beats any Eastern Team other than Miami.

I would prefer the wager to not have San Antonio in it at all for a smaller price but I haven't seen it.
It may show up though...

Yeah I don't look for safety in my bets, it is not a blue chip stock vs a high beta/PE tech. I look for value, this is pretty much it.

I see your point though.

I think the "injury/unknown variables" is very flawed reasoning (actually I know this is very flawed reasoning, I'm just being nice)

Yeah I thought the line was around -450

Be a nice ticket to hold right now though! :)

As much as I am rooting for the Clipps to win I think that MIA / OKC / SAS is a very safe bet.... It is a steep price but those were the top 3 teams this year...
it really should be more like -1500

This wager was about as guaranteed as they come in sports and you were right mark it should have been much higher than what was posted which made the bet well worth it. Thanks to everyone in this thread and hache for posting it i havent seen him ever give bad info on these future wagers posted offshore, nba, and classic threads from the past :103631605
