Meanwhile, PATS hanging on for dear life.

Pats, highly overrated.

Still a great team, but highly overrated.

Hanging on for dear life?!?!?!??

lol- you guys never cease to amaze me...they score too many points, then they are a-holes...when they don't win in a sexy way...then they 'hang on.'

seriously...c'mon...your pigeon holing here. The Jets never led, only got close because the punter dropped a snap...and the Patriots played small ball in accordance w/ the weather. The Patriots won by DD.

You really for one second...thought the Jets were gonna win this game?

I've never been one of those 'in your face' Pats fans here...but good god, you guys stretch to find something to criticize...and i needed to comment.

A game like the Jets game will only make the Patriots that much better in the playoffs. Now they have the home field clinched throughout the playoffs the next two weeks really don't mean anything other that the undefeated thing but basically the Pats have four weeks to get ready for their first playoff game and let everyone who is dinged up get healthy.

Most likely the Steelers and Jaguars are on a collision course again in Pittsburg in three weeks, which will eliminate one or the other. Another most likely is the Pats will have to beat San Diego coming off two weeks rest at home and finally the Colts at Gillette in late January. The weather will be an equal factor for both teams, it should be a hell of a game.

New England is certainly no cinch to get to the Super Bowl but they are easily the AFC favorite.

They are underfeated, I hope they are the favorites to win it all.

They are overrated in the sense that some are claiming they one of the top three teams of alltime.........which in my opinion they should not even be considered as such.

By the way, what are the odds they will NOT win the SBowl?

The best thing that could happen to Pats in the next two weeks is for the Chargers to steal the 3 seed and have a 2nd round game with the Colts. The way they are playing the Colts will have their hands full even in the Dome.
The Chargers have the Broncos at San Diego next week and finish at Oakland to end up at 11-5 if they win both (already winning 27-7 today vs. Lions). They may have the edge with a 9-3 record in conference if there is a tiebreaker with either Cleveland or Pittsburg who both have 4 losses in the conference already.
