Won last time out going 2-1, now 3-4 -10.16 units. I didn't pick Boston to win the series and to do so in six games to have the game two disrupt my thoughts. I think they get the momentum back tonight.

3* Bos -110
3* No run first

How can you not like the over here. Both pitchers have bad era's in the playoffs and they're the third best so it should go over. Every time I think like this, it goes the opposite. Neither team is hitting, it's been poor fielding that has created runs. Tonight the defense plays well, the pitchers pitch like they can.
3* under 7 +115

Swept last night in a bad way. I don't agree with the last call. I umpired for 24 years and there is no way a guy laying on the ground, gets stepped on is obstructing a runner from scoring. I don't think he leg whipped him either, in fact I don't think his legs touched the runner. Oh well, there is no guarantee they would've won. Now 3-7 and down 21.26 units.

tonight
4* over 3 2nd half
3* Over 7.5

I'm praying for Boston so I can get even and get a better chance at my series bet of ending in six games.

MG,
Thanks for the picks and good luck.

Just for fun, try lying on your front and then get up. I promise you there is NEVER a time where you will kick both legs back prior to doing so. It appeared blatant to me that he was trying to trip him. But what do I know?

Gooch it looked to me he was trying get his legs out of the base path, trying to get out of the runners way.
I really don't think there was any intent there. But hell I could be wrong as well.

Not for nothing Craig tripped himself in my opinion. He was flustered once he realized the ball went down the line and reacted a little clumsily trying to go over Middlebrooks. He made the contact, not middlebrooks. Craig could have stepped around or made better effort going over him.

Craig thought he was out at home.

Been an awesome series I hope the Sox can tie it up. GL MG Man

Gooch, I thought just the opposite. When I get up, I do kick my legs up as lifting with only my arms takes more work with my gut. I umpired the top level of mens slow pitch softball and the infielder has to have intent to obstruct a runner. In the Major Leagues, no intent has to occur. As Pats said, I think Craig stumbled himself trying to get over Middlebrooks who was well inside the baseline.

It's over now so it's on to game 4.

Fuck, won my 4* and tried to get closer to positive units by posting a second play. I'm not doing that tonight but I'll tell you that if I had I would've added Bost +109 as a 3*. But it's no play.

Tonights one and only play 5* No runs first inning -160

Just an fyi on the call. Torre and the umpires had a press conference after the game. The rule on obstruction states that it doesn't matter if obstruction is intentional or not if the player is not, at the moment of obstruction, trying to make a play on the ball. So whether it was intentional or not by Middlebrooks the rule states it's obstruction if a player in any way impedes another player from advancing.

Ra I know what the rule reads but if Craig wasn't a bumbling idiot he would've stayed in the base path and not tripped over a guy laying on the ground.

Bukis and Shortbusdriver, if you've been on the forum and followef me you would know I'm honest as the day is long. I got -160 very early in the day. It went to-175 closer to game time. None the less I just lost 5 units.

SBD, if my memory serves me right this isn't the first time you've come into my threads with negative bullshit. Stay the fuck out
