I'm now 2-2 +.52 units. You guys have to admit these playoffs have been exciting and with unexpected results. I have a couple of plays going tonight with reasons for each.
2* Yes run scored first inning +125. The last four games Shields has pitched there has been a run in the first. Meanwhile, there has been a run in 6 of the last 7 games Tillman has pitched and 8 of 13 during his 12-1 record over that time. I'm taking the +125 and look for the pitchers to be a little nervous and a run in the first.
4* Under 7-120, Shield is 10-2 and the team is 15-4 when he pitches on the road this year. His era is 2.97 on the rd versus 3.64 at hm. His WHIP is 1.15 with 104 K's, 27bb in 124.1 innings pitched. On the other side, Baltimore is 12-1 when Tillman takes the mound his last 13. The team is 14-5 with him at hm with an era of 2.59 versus 4.31 on the rd. He's only given up 40 runs in those 19 starts and more than 2 runs twice in his last 12 starts. This should be a fun series and tonights game goes under the 7 runs as both teams have great bullpens.
