I just got home from putting my dog down after 13 great years with her. It's a sad day and I hope maybe I'll have my first winning Saturday in college football on the year with her in mind. Here we go, I think my record is 13 - 16 on the year.

GL! Let's go Cubs! I'll have MLB and NHL also today.

Sorry to hear that MG - we have FIVE dogs out here in the country and I dread when we will have to put down our little rat terrier. She's going to be 12 but still gets around pretty well.

So sorry for your loss MGM, one of the toughest things in life to do is to have to play God. I have lost four canines in the last two years. It always sucks. Remember the great times, it does get easier over time.

I can't thank all you guys for the nice thoughts and words. It means more than the thanks when I'm hot which isn't enough for my liking. I was in the middle if moving my mom from assisted living to an alzheimers facility when I loaded up on Minn -3 2nd half. A good start. It's been a hell of a weekend. I sang at a friend's funeral yesterday, died too young at 53 of cancer so there are good days ahead I hope

One loss in the books, adding 4* F ST +4.5 as I'm going for 4-1 day. Mom's house is cleaned out and now I'm home getting ready to watch some Cubs/Cleveland. I don't like playoff pitchers going on three days rest so I really like the Cubs and there might be some more runs scored as well, especially if the Cubs are on the winning side, they have scored some runs. So, if you think they win, maybe play the team total over. I'm standing pat with my plays as they are.
