John Maine has done anything but struggle as of late...He's given up 3, 3, 3, 2 and 2 Runs in his last 5 starts. 3 of those starts were at STL, at PHI and @ COL. That is farrrrrr from struggling....Struggling would be more like Arroyo who gave up 5 in 5 innings his last outing against the Cubs (pitched decent the two games before that --Congrats Arroyo you were going against Washington and Cleveland's booming bats) and the game before that Arroyo dishhhhed up 10 runs in the first inning against Toronto....Hardly a good reason to take Cincy...Best of luck tho:toast:
I watched the entire game last night. It was a game the Reds should have won. You can tell by the body language of the 2 teams that last night could have been a game the Mets look back on as further elevating their season and running away with the division. I feel tonight's game is a game where stats DO NOT matter. The Mets are feeling it. The Reds are starting to plan Fall vacations. Last night's ending will carry into today and the Mets win big.
Same stats....you gotta look deeper into those stats though thats all Im sayin..Mets are 5-1 in Maines last 5 starts..again he doesnt go deep into games and has alot of no decisions...That 1 bad game was a 7-1 Loss to St.Louis....hes pitching great though...Mets last 6 games that Maine has started IN:

you can easily see how his last 3 might look bad on the surface but this is so far from the actuality of things...hes simply had 2 no decisions in his last 3 games (and he pitched very well in both of those starts)
