Regardless of my current feelings toward this community, I'm still glad I stumbled upon it years ago. I've met some pretty cool people because of this place.
DNoonan is most recent I've met and one of the coolest dudes on forumville.
I've talked to him outside the forum here and there for a little while now and knew he spent a lot of time in the sin city. So when I got random text from him in the middle of my 10 day Vegas stay, I thought there would be a good chance he would be in Vegas too. Sure enough, he was here too. So we made plans to grab some grub and watch the NHL Finals at a sportsbook.
You talk about all around good dude, Dnoonan is that guy. He has some of the most ridiculous stories I've ever heard, and the story telling ability to go along with it. Great food recommendations - and Vegas recommendations. He told me to place my bet with the blonde girl and tip her a dollar when I ask for drink tickets. I was good for the night on drink tickets after that one bet. He knows his stuff, definitely an intelligent guy. But not intelligent enough to know better than to follow my NHL pick that night. Sorry brah! But genuinely an awesome, fun person.
