I do apologize for letting Russ get me that fired up.

We (BHB) are currently getting extorted by the Russians. And having to answer questions all day is really upsetting to me.

Furthermore, although Id like to answer a lot of your questions - I cant. Because you never know who else is reading these posts. Looking for info.

As far as Russ, whatever. We all know he never had a thing to say until we pulled our ads. Same as he did with Rio.

Some of us know for a fact that if Rio (or BHB for that matter) paid him to advertise, he would stop spreading the rumors.

I know this doesnt justify my earlier posts to Russ. I only hope you guys understand that I am a person like everyone else. If you push me, I will push back.

BHB will be back up ASAP, and is still in solid financial standing. If any of you would like a payout, as always - you can get it right away.

While it sucks that you are being extorted by those damn Russians, the fact still remains that so have many many other books and by all appearances BHB is handling the attacks much more poorly than has just about any other book. These attacks are par for the course these days and you guys are expected to be able to repel the, in a reasonable manner. 10 days is soon approaching unreasonableness. My humble suggestion is to get your shit together instead of hurling shit on these forums.

We are looking for an answer to this problem that will not allow anything like this to happen (ever) again.

Most books have just gotten more bandwith. Which is fine for now. But what happens when/if these guys get more computers? Then they hit you 10 times as hard.

We are doing all we can. Researching every possible angle. We will make a decision on what to do this week.

If we wanted to get up right away, we could have. Then be back down, then up again, then down again.

We are trying to make the best possible decision, and in order to do that it takes time.

I became aware MW rec list was truely worthless the day after he took the BHB ads down and bashed em. He was saying things like he wasn't sure where they were located and that stuff was sketchy etc etc...

I thought that was especially cool to trash BHB right after he helled the door open for people to walk in. Then he makes an attempt to close the door and poor gasoline on the joint.

You books have to remember that Russ and his crew and all of us are just people. When people stop worrying soo much about what one guy who started a website at the right time thinks the rest of us will stop watching so close.

Its funny that a certain group of posters can validate the importance of what someone says and then people just fall into place. I think this is the "mods" most important role. Its always easier to start a gathering after you get that first one or 2 people behind you.

If they could tell you more they would. If they could get it fixed right now they would.

I feel very safe with BHB.
And there has not been one person that has said they haven't been paid.

They are trying to explain and get it resolved. Just give them a lil break. Let them get it fixed and learn from this. then perhaps once everything is fixed they can explain in more detal.

Good question Lester.. and not one they can give you an answer on.. other that they have been lying, as those websites would have the exact same problems if they were really under a DOS attack..

But either people on here, wont understand it or just dont have a clue about how a DOS attack really works..

In any event being down this long is simply not acceptable so don't get pissed when rumours start to fly. People just want to play and if they can't play online then they will play in the forums.

Name one other book that let this drag out so long??

In regards to your question, even though all of the sites you listed can be on the same server it is the IP address that makes the difference.

IP addresses are like Fringer Prints, everyone's is UNIQUE, and thats how the hackers focus their "ATTACK'S" on a site like BHB's.

PLEEEEZ....There are over 500 sportsbooks in existance. If a player wants to play, they can. BHB has plainly stated, if you dont want to wait or dont trust us.....TAKE YOUR MONEY OUT. How hard is that? Give it a rest!
