Hopefully either the Irish or Bruins can take down the Trojans in the coming weeks so that WE can play each other for the National Title. We know who the top 2 teams are!

as i replied in the offshore forum - WE DO! and USC IS one of the top 2 teams. actually - they are the best team. of these 3 - OU is the "weakest link"

USC would DESTROY Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl
USC and Auburn would be a great game

but - there is NO WAY USC OR Oklahoma loses a game this year. USC has 2 creampuffs and OU has 2 even bigger patsies - Baylor and whatever stiff between Iowa State/NE Steroid M0ngers plays OU in the Big XII final WILL GET KILLED!

auburn better kill bama and whoever they play in the SEC title game and hope that is good enough to get them to #2 for USC is staying #1 - as they should.

I woudn't be so sure about OU being the weakest link. Everybody thought Miami was going to clean Ohio States clock a couple years ago. Didn't happen. Florida St. was favored by 12 points to beat OU in 2000. Didn't happen. All three of these teams are good with good quality players. You won't know how well they match up until they play each other. One of these teams are going to be left out of the BCS title game. It's too bad we'll never know who the real national champs are.:nopityA:

Don't get me wrong fellas, I would absolutely LOVE a rematch with the Trojans now that we have a competent offensive coordinator. We ALL saw how the Aub offense was last season with Offensive Line coach Hugh "Knothead" Nall calling plays. Now THAT was pathetic! At least we made it a great game in LA when Petrino was calling the plays.<!-- / message -->

OU Will Be Playing

In the Sugar, probably against Miami and this time they (OU) goes down as do most of their cheerleaders! Fiesta BC (ugh) vs Utes, 2 best gms will be Rose & Orange!

Auburn will beat the sh*t out of anybody they play. Watching them do what they wanted against a very tough Georgia defense last week showed me that they can beat you many ways. Their offense is dynamic and is constantly changing and getting better. Mark it down...put your money on Auburn in the BCS against whomever they're playing.

I tend to agree that if Auburn makes it to the BCS bowl, they would have a good chance of winning the Championship. However, the bigger question is whether or not they will make it there even if they run the table. The fly in their ointment is the 3 cream puffs they played in their non-conference schedule that has caused their strength of schedule overall to take a beating. I think this situation just proves once again that We need to have a playoff system after the bowl games are over where number 4 meets number 1 and number 2 plays number 3 and the winners play for the championship. What other sport decides their championship in a computer room ?

Kermit...

Oklahoma's strength of schedule is going to drop their next two games because the play Baylor and some pansy from the Big 12 North.

Auburn has to go into Alabama (bowl eligible) and then play Tenessee, a top 15 team.

I think Auburn will catch them if they both win out.

I always root for the big 12, and I'm biased towards them, but not OU. I hate ou, so it really evens out there, making me unbiased.

OU is too weak defensively to beat USC or Auburn. It can happen, and it might, but out of 10 games, they lose more than they would win...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Face it. All Auburn will ever get to see is a view of the Sooner's a$$hole because they are stuck right where they are in the BCS rankings looking up OK's butt.

I hope you watch USC/ND and learn something you OBVIOUSLY don't know about the Trojans. And, by the way you will be watching the #1 and #2 Heisman candidates in that game playing for USC. It may be a tossup between QB Matt Lienert and Reggie Bush for the Heisman Trophy. Consider every game USC plays an NFL talent preview. I also think that they arguably have the best OC and DC in all of college football.

If I was you I'd be worried sick about what the Cal Bears would do to them but you may get out of that one if Cal gets Michigan in the Rose Bowl. That is the luckiest thing I can say about Auburn.
