The Fox News star and her contributor pal Dana Perino were spotted at an event held by their cable news rival after a long day of speeches, arriving with three bodyguards in tow and mostly keeping to themselves according to Politco . Kelly did find some time though to chat with Anderson Cooper (right) and the president of CNN, Jeff Zucker while also posting a photo of herself and Perino posing with Don Lemon (left), who invited her to the party. That photo was posted to her Twitter just before 3am on Thursday. Kelly is seen beaming in the photo, taken just hours after The New York Times reported that her co-hosts at the convention, Bret Baier and Brit Hume, were refusing to speak with her off camera. The alleged tension between the network's convention hosts comes less than a week after the resignation of Roger Ailes.

Megyn Kelly took some time to relax after a long day covering the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday by enjoying a drink and catching up with a few of her fellow on-air personalities at the unlikeliest of places - the CNN Grill.
The Fox News star and her contributor pal Dana Perino were spotted at an event held by their cable news rival after a long day of speeches, arriving with three bodyguards in tow and mostly keeping to themselves according to Politco.
Kelly did find some time though to chat with Anderson Cooper and the president of CNN, Jeff Zucker while also posting a photo of herself and Perino posing with Don Lemon, who invited her to the party.
That photo was posted to her Twitter just before 3am on Thursday.

Frozen treats: It was reported on Wednesday that Kelly's convention co-hosts Bret Baier and Brit Hume are refusing to speak to her off camera (Kelly above with Dana Perino at the ice cream bar)

Hume denied the Times claims in an email, saying: 'Yes, I am upset about Roger’s departure. I love the guy. I don’t think this episode was about political correctness. And I think Megyn Kelly did what she felt she had to do, and I am not upset with her.'
A source with on-set knowledge of the situation also spoke with DailyMail.com and said there is no tension between the three.
'The anchors are engrossed in their phones and computers, and listening to the speeches during breaks, because that’s the norm during live coverage of a major event,' said the source.
'There have been plenty of private talks and evenings out behind the scenes.'
She was also not the only Fox News personality to stop by the CNN event, with Greta Van Susteren and Kennedy also making there way to the network's party.
Kelly's attendance at the CNN event coupled with the Times story has now led to speculation that she could be considering a move to the network when her contract expires next year.
She even acknowledged a possible move last night, joking to one attendee when they told her they needed a job: 'I might need one soon as well.'
Anderson and Lemon, like Kelly, are a part of their network's primetime lineup, but Cooper airs opposite Bill O'Reilly's The O'Reilly Factor at 8pm and Lemon anchors CNN Tonight at 10pm, after Kelly's show.
CNN does not have a personality who hosts their 9pm hour, which is when Fox News airs The Kelly File.
Kelly has addressed her possible departure from the network before, telling Variety in May: 'I've had a great 12 years here, and I really like working for Roger Ailes. I really like my show, and I love my team. But, you know, there's a lot of brain damage that comes from the job.'
Kelly reportedly had some different things to say about Ailes however in the wake of Gretchen Carlson's lawsuit against their boss at the network.

Ailes' departure from the network came two week after Gretchen Carlson filed a sexual harassment lawsuit, more women came forward to claim they had been sexually harassed by Ailes and 21st Century Fox launched an internal investigation.
It was during the investigation that Kelly reportedly revealed that she herself had been harassed by Ailes when she first joined the company.
Kelly has refused multiple requests for comment about what she said to investigators.
She also refused to come to the defense of Ailes in the wake of Carlson's claims, making her one of the only anchors on the network to keep silent.
Almost every single other on-air personality at Fox News did come to Ailes defense however, with some also going after Carlson as well in the days after her filing.
In an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers earlier this month, Fox News host Bill O'Reilly firmly stated: 'I stand by Roger 100 percent.'
The host of the network's top-rated program, The O'Reilly Factor, told Meyers that it was 'a very sad situation' when first asked to comment about Carlson's lawsuit, but then went on to say: 'I’ve worked for Roger Ailes for 20 years. Best boss I’ve ever had. Straight shooter, always honest with me.
'And I believe that, over the years - he’s been in the business for 50 years - 95 percent of the people who have worked for Roger Ailes would say exactly the same thing that I just told you.'
O'Reilly then took aim at the many 'frivolous' lawsuits being filed these days against rich and powerful men like the Fox News CEO, who he described as a 'target.'
He at no point specifically mentioned Carlson or her lawsuit during the interview.

In addition to O'Reilly, Greta Van Susteren, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Ainsley Earhardt, Harris Faulkner, Maria Bartiromo, Sandra Smith and Martha MacCallum and many others have spoken publicly about their appreciation and respect for Ailes.
Guilfoyle, who has hosted Carlson's former program multiple times since her departure, told Breitbart that Ailes is a 'champion of women,' adding that she has none him for over a decade.
'Nothing inappropriate has ever transpired, nor am I aware of anything inappropriate that has ever transpired with any of the other women that I've ever talked to,' said Guilfoyle.
'I've talked to 30, at least, fellow female colleagues at Fox, and not one of them said anything inappropriate was ever said or transpired.
'In fact, they were all very upset to see this happen, and you know they know Roger Ailes would never treat them in this fashion.'
Bartiromo said of the allegations in an interview with Variety: 'Nobody wants to see anybody have any bad experiences. It’s just not in keeping with what I know, and my experience at Fox.'
Van Susteren told People: 'I deal with Roger Ailes often. I've often been alone with Roger Ailes in his office over the course of 15 years and I've never seen anything like what I'm reading about in the papers and the magazine.'
She also added of Carlson's lawsuit: 'This doesn't have any ring of truth to me. I would have heard it. People don't keep things silent.'
Fox News set up an interview in which MacCallum, Earhardt and Faulkner told Mediaite they did not believe that allegations being made about Ailes by Carlson, who Earhardt twice calling him a 'father figure' and MacCallum saying that Carlson's lawsuit 'sort of bonded us' and 'brought people together.'
In that interview all three women also dismissed Carlson's claim that she was unable to wear pants while appearing on Fox and Friends.
Smith echoed that in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, stating: 'I have never been instructed on the length of my skirt or the color of my lipstick.'
She also said she was 'very surprised and a little bit confused' she learned of Carlson's allegations.
In the end, Ailes walked with a $40million severance package and will stay on as an adviser to Murdoch.

seems like they're just partying

I can't see Megyn being welcome anywhere but Fox, the CNN audiences would have a heart attack. Culture shock, they'd be like waaaaaaaaat? and she'd be talking way too fast for them

They probably wouldn't understand her, and they may actually think she agrees with them about politics

Kudos to Kelly for knowing how to market herself. Sour Grapes over at Fox.

In other news Brooke Baldwin's thighs set the convention floor on fire today

and Dana Perino is just the best. She's informed, been there, knows how it works and is just an honest person. If all our media was like her, and very very very few are, our country's state of political affairs would be 10 fold better
