I was in Vegas for a vacation all of last week, and learned some things from a dealer at a poker table in Excalibur. I was hoping to win the Megabucks slot machine jackpot, but on second thought, I think I'll pass. Turns out that the 25 year old that won 38 million in March of 2003 died a few months later of an overdose while partying at the Palms. Another winner, a cocktail waitress at the Monte Carlo, was in a bad accident a few months after winning. Her sister was killed, and she is paralyzed. I don't know if you guys had heard about this, but it was shocking for me to hear. I was actually in Vegas when the 38 million dollar jackpot hit, and I remember reading all about the young kid that won it. Very sad news.
Lots of urban legends follow Megabucks around. There are a few stories that are true, but most of it is bunk. You should hear the rumors flying when the jackpot gets up high.

Green Doberman- I was at your casino on Friday night. I asked the pit boss if he was the Green Doberman, and he looked at me funny. He promptly asked me to spit out my chew, claiming that it was a health hazard. Smoking is okay, though, but I don't smoke. Whatever. I'm sure we'll meet up if I make it out to the bash.
