Someone has finally nailed the system. Good article and actually a pretty good system for paying the players. The article makes it crystal clear why the SEC is the best conference as the Northern schools are not as passionate or focused on this type of activity. The bozos at Northwestern would not forming a union if the bag men operated in Evanston.

To me, the most interesting part of the article (and doesn't really surprise me when I really think about it) is that he says the bag man is not the millionaire who drops thousands and thousands of dollars on the program. It's the guy who is comfortable, knows the right people, and has $10-15K in cash a year to burn. I want to be this man.

Pretty awesome article. It's pretty obvious Oklahoma doesn't have a very good bagman. Or else we would be in the top 10 in recruiting instead of struggling to make the top 20 every year. Or it could have something to do with Texas A&M having a better bagman. And Ole Miss having an even better bagman. Of course the writer of this article is from Ole Miss....coincidence?

Ironically, that God awful movie "Two for the Money" was on the other day. I got sucked in. Hadn't seen it on TV basically ever. What a horrible piece of shit movie. I'm sure MM would like to wipe it off his resume too.
