I don't understand this. He is playing a game with -EV, and that model talks about playing an infinite number of hands. Playing standard blackjack over time will lead to Beaner going busto 100% of the time, no? Or did you use a set number of hands to qualify this?

You're right... I was trying to estimate in order to illustrate a point that
it's ridiculous to buy into a BJ game with 10 units. I used it's default
setting for edge had 1.9 units per 100 hands (assuming one is
counting and bet adjusting). But, yeah you're right given that
BeanTownJim probably isn't counting and has -ev, his
risk of ruin over the long term is 100%.
