as an outsider from another country and with brother who just got his US citizenship this year(and he actually voted for trump) and 3 american nephews and an american sister in law, I can understand why trump was elected, I'm not blaming it on the racist card like so many people has been so quick to do, but there's one thing that really worries me: a few years ago while in VA I was refused being serviced at a gas station because of my accent and latino looks (I had to go in to the mini mart for them to put credit in the machine cause it wouldnt take my international credit card for some reason) he just said we dont serve ppl like you here. Now, I'm not saying all trump voters are like this guy, but how many are there like him? and how many more are like him but were afraid of saying something like that, until now that trump get elected and the might feel validated by his election to say things like that and maybe even worse I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens
