Great players rarely make good coaches. Off the top of my head I can't think of a single one in football. Mike Ditka was a very good player but, other than one season, a mediocre coach. Tom Landry was a great coach but, while he was very good, couldn't be called a great player.

The best that close to compare is the guy i admire when he played for Colts as QB(tough as nail) Jim Hagbaugh. His fb team now is getting better under his wings. Will be good in 2 years fr now
