I think he knows Seattle is in trouble.

Portland has plenty to work with if he can get their heads on straight. I don't think that is possible though. If Mo Cheeks couldn't do it, I don't think anyone can. He was a true players coach as well.

Portland brought in the high schooler and has Telfair to build around. The owners have said they are going to clean up their image. Look for Portland to make a few deals before the season once free agency dies down.

I wonder how much Ray Allen knew about this. Can't believe he would re-sign without having a clue.

Coming from Seattle, he probably has some pretty good drug connections. They ought to love him in Portland.

I think the Clippers are in much more dire straights than Seattle.

A little surprsing to me that he took this job, however it may be more surprising that Ray Allen resigned yesterday knowing that he may not be playing for Nate. I think Seattle may miss the playoffs next season and one of the following teams may take over their spot: Lakers, Timberwolves, Warriors, Clippers.

Cheeks is overrated,This is a upgrade for us.
