As some of you might know, it has been weeks, maybe even a month, since Mr. McIrish gave out a game in our head to head baseball matchup!

Considering that I just gave out one of my last two games the other night on this forum, and also considering the fact that Patrick is still a PROHIBITIVE FAVORITE, then what's he so afraid of?

If I were in the driver's seat, I'be very willing and eager to fire up another winner, forcing my opponent to take more than a 3-1 underdog with his last pick...

It's OK Pat to admit to being afraid of me in this position...

Shrink,

He's waiting for you to make a settlement offer. He told me that he'd settle for 90% of the original wager. As your consel, and after seeing your picks this season, I'd advise you to take the offer.

No. Could you put up a line on that though?

Shrink - step it up a notch sir. This is like asking the blackjack dealer if she'd like to go first. Don't blame me for being ahead at this point.

Rules is rules. We can e-mail our picks to Hollywood at the same time though if you want to end it. Let me know....

Shrink,

The public support you were hoping far looks a little slow coming around. Once again, as your counselor, I'd recommend taking the buyout.

Max - looks like the buy out offer for your client is going to be pulled off the table. He has until 12EST to accept it. If not I will demand payment in full when I win. Saving 5% and 10% adds up as often as Ken loses in these things. Always wise to swallow your pride and accept the buy out when offered.

Fish - we each have one play left and I am up 2.4 units - anyone's game actually. I'd probably double up though if asked...

I think it is 2.04 instead of 2.4? Will have to go look now.

What is the best strategy Fish? Play a dog so the worse I can be is up 1.04 so he will have to win a bet 1.05 and higher? Or I could play big chalk like Pedro -360 to get me up 3.04 units if it wins, problem is if it loses...

Patrick,

All a good counselor can do is offer wise financial advice. I've told him he's been lucky to be this close and to save the extra cash for the dice tables in Vegas... but you know how stubborn he can be.

ANAHEIM ANGELS PLUS $3.10 vs. Boston Red Sox (JAZZ)

If this WINS, then the chicken will have to finally play again!

Ken it was a nice try, down -2.04 you had to go for all the marbles. Now down -3.04 wth no plays it is all over. Thanks and I enjoyed the competition.

You made a great run as you were down 12 units once and the fact is had this game hit I would have needed to win my last play. That tells me all I need to know. I probably shouldn't but will do it again next year to let you get even if you are interested. Had it not been for that shaky start I was toast this year.
