What chance do you give this bay colt, by what i've read he has been impressive. I am looking to bet this horse at 16/1 win with some at place and show. if he gets their he will be 6/1 or 7/1 on the day.

What do you think please ?

I didn't think you could bet pl & show on Derby futures.

I am pretty sure that you can bet place and show futures on Derby bets in Las Vegas, but I don't think in the future pools that are offered you can.

Last year, the Excalibur in Vegas had place and show futures available...no word on it this year yet.

I was assuming miamiman meant offshore...anyone know of any books offering this?

Eurosilver still at 16-1? If so, congrats (though that would make sense that European books would have better odds on American horses and lower odds on candidates from their own country).

eurosilver has as good of a chance as any i've seen run, and 16/1 seems like a fair price. wouldn't take any lower than that b/c too much can go wrong between now and then. i don't bet futures, but if i had to put down cash, i'd want big big odds to compensate for the injury factor.
