Although Floyd Mayweather wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday that he still doesn't have a deal to fight UFC star Conor McGregor, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has officially opened odds on the potential bout.
now open for wagering ...
Boxing match only
Conor McGregor +1100
Floyd Mayweather -2500

*must take place by 5/31/2018*
- Jeff Sherman (@golfodds) February 16, 2017

Jeff Sherman, assistant manager at the Westgate SuperBook, tweeted out that Mayweather is a heavy -2500 (25-1) favorite, with McGregor as a +1100 (11-1) underdog. The bet only applies if the bout is a boxing match and takes place by June 2018. The sportsbook won't make any more odds on the fight until it's official and is limiting wagers to $2,000.

Why did the Westgate open odds now? "With all of the recent discussions about the fight, we figured we might as well make it bettable," Sherman told ESPN.

Mayweather opened as a -4000 favorite at Westgate in last fight against Andre Berto in Sept. 2015.

Line is too low but who the fuck wants to post up 10k to win 400 - McGreggor loses by disqualification - once he starts getting tap danced on he will land a kick that breaks Mayweather's ribs

Floyd should be a minimum of 1000-1 if it's a straight up Boxing Match, and he's not dumping.

Betonline has Mayweather -1600
Wow. Your post caused me to look up other Books that may have odds, and I'm astounded. Bookmaker has Floyd at -972, and 5 Dimes has this:
Boxing Match - TBA - PPV

It's against my betting religion to lay that kind of juice. I did it once, stupidly on undefeated NE against the Jints in the Super Bowl:ohno:. If one wants to make any significant money, you're tying up a very large sum of money, for a long time, on something that's likely not ever going to happen. But if there ever was a time to do so, this would be it. Floyd cannot lose this fight unless he wants to.

Odds are strikingly similar to Trumps odds the night before the election

Some people just never learn

2 of the Greatest self promoters... doing their thing. Lol.

And as I mentioned unless they fly to manilla, this shit ain't happening for 2 years.

Lol, and to be honest... that will put McGregor in a very good position. Lol

Come on

That's what they people were saying about Hillary. "Hillary is a lock" they said. "Trump has no chance" they said.

LOL...Hillary and Trump had to rely on the entire US population to decide the outcome. This is two people in a ring deciding it between themselves based on a specific skill set, where one person is arguably the best at that particular skill set.

...And I still lean to this never happening. And I will hate myself for buying it if it does.

I'm fine paying for a product I enjoy. Guess I'm a sucker.

I can afford a PPV, so I go for the comfort of my couch and HD and room for friends, rather than searching for a free stream that may cut out at anytime while sitting at my desk.

So how much would I have to put up to win $1,000?

If any of you can put up the kind of money to win 1M, do it.

You said this:
And I will hate myself for buying it if it does.
That would imply you aren't just throwing around money because it's highly important you feel you get good value for buying a PPV. Then you said this:
I can afford a PPV, so I go for the comfort of my couch and HD and room for friends, rather than searching for a free stream that may cut out at anytime while sitting at my desk.

I made the comment about why pay for PPV before your second quote, which was kind of the opposite of your first
