Maybe I'm missing someting, couldn't of Ohio State got the ball back if it used it's timeouts?

Not as timely since the game has been over but Clemson had a 2nd down kneel with about 25 seconds left and Ohio State still had 2 timeouts left. Would have been a miracle but dont' see why they didn't try.

Am I wrong on what happened?

Urban knew the game was over when they muffed the punt. Takes a lot of quit in a team to fold like a cheap suit when one play goes bad. The game was never the same afterwards.

with 2, as showed on TV, they get the ball back forcing Clemson to punt with 20 seconds

with 1, forgetaboutit (even more so)

Yahoo is showing OSU called timeout with 1:50 left and again with 1:18 left

osu called their first timeout after clemson had a false start penalty on 3rd down in the previous drive. OSU then intercepted the ball, ran a couple plays and threw an interception. They called their next TO on Clemsons first run and didnt call there last TO after Clemson got a first down. Of course, no one would know this as Tesatore was spewing gibberish and, as my wife said, was just talking to hear his own voice.
