i get one island mixed up with another, one third world country blends into another. Where is the location of the major (top 30 or so) sportsbooks?

I know Bet JAmaica is in JAmaica.

and Olympic is in JAmaica.

I know certain people say stay away from Costa Rican Books, but Costa Rica is probably the largest of Sportsbooks IMO. Probably home of some of the top ones also!!

Can someone make a list of the big sportbooks where your money is safe. A list of books that when you hit big you will get paid. Last but not least a list of books that are related in one way or another, so if you want to get away from a certain book you dont end up betting a sister book, or one thats right down the hall from another.

AS we have discussed previously, none of the offshore books are 100% safe. The safest ones are ones backed by the government or publicly traded in countries like England or Ireland.
Anywhere in Central America or the Caribbean, there is some degree of risk with every book, even the top notch ones.
However, you need to weigh your risk versus reward.

Just to put the record straight concerning England and Ireland, you are not legally safe as gambling depts are not enforceable by Law.

All on-line books are operated outside UK & Ireland jurisdiction for tax purposes and while some of these books are backed by Publicly listed Companies, in theory they could pull the plug with no recourse for the bettor.

The only books I would say you are 100% safe with are the books who have 50+ betting shops operating on the mainland. Any adverse publicity would seriously damage their core business.

Betfair makes too much money to do a runner, Sporting Index and IG Index are too smart to go under.

I think most of em are tied in with that there mafia leader, Dom Perignon.
