Costco; got the geek Tom Cruise frames with hidden bifocals and non-glare; scratch resistant..about $150.00; still going good after 3 years...

Yeah they say Costco, BJ's and Walmart have the best deals .. thought about going to BJ's and checking it out.

If my Sunglasses weren't so shot, I would have waited to next year where my Insurance would have covered most of the cost.

Maui Jim's corporate office is in the town where I grew up and is next door to my current work's HQ.

I had no point in saying that, just a random tidbit.

Supposed to be a GREAT company to work for.

Coming from a guy with a $600 blender.
A 6K bed
2K music headphones
8.5K TV
2.5k vacuum cleaner
600 putter

I would never pay $500 for a pair of sunglasses.

I see nothing in those sun glasses thats any better then $50 sunglasses.

All the above expensive things I own cost more because they are superior to the alternatives.

I dont mind paying money but I have to see the value.

Honestly what is so special about those glasses?

The putter is bullshit....spend that money on lessons if you want to lower your handicap

Ive taken a bunch of lessons.

Yes the lessons take more strokes off your game then any putter so I agree.
But it is a nice putter.

All kidding aside, not that I'm a Pro, but if it gives you more confidence, that's half the battle.

I have 2 pairs. Great company. Ive had mine for 5+ years each. Broke an arm once. Scratched lenses before. Took them to Maui jim parts office and they pretty much gave me new glasses back for 0$. I didnt even have proof of purchase. Good quality glasses. Polarized lenses are worth the money.

Glad to hear ..Thanks

my cousin is an optometrist, and I can get near any sunglasses at cost thru him and often i'll get freebies and he's told me flat out there are a couple companies that are worth their price tag from a performance point of view, or from a craft point of view in that they're hand made and require more labor, one of them is maui jims for their lenses. Only one he uses, but they're old man styling, I would never bother even for cost unless they came up with some that were more relevant for me but I got a free pair he gave me and I use them when we go out on the water and there are no women to impress around :p

I've had 2 pairs, bought 4 pairs from an optometrist/eye glass store going out of business & bought them each 75% off.

Sold 2 pair on eBay.

Have had Serengeti glasses, & Revo......

Maui Jim's have the best lense, but Revo has the best frame IMO......

Have a pair of Ray Ban also but they don't compare to the above names IMO.....
