Iowa G Pierce is ? for this game......my guess is he plays limited miniutes.

Sharpshooting G Jeff Horner has played a tremendous amount of miniutes the last two nights.

NC has much more depth than the Hawkeyes and IOWA is coming off two hard fought wins the last two evenings.

This is why NC is such a large favorite in this spot, even though IOWA has just defeated the #11 and #13 teams in the country.

The Heels have regrouped nicely since being upset last wk. Gotta like the depth factor in this one, as well as NC has had an easier time of it. Gotta wonder if Iowa has much left in the tank after those 2 hard fought games back to back. Iowa will be a tough, overacheiving team this yr, but NC is a cut above Iowa's last 2 opponents.

Can get Iowa +12 at Sky right now. I might hold off thinking this might go up some more. Worried about pierce injury however.

if game is close at half---obvious play would be unc the second half---iowa should be tired and run out of gas the last ten minutes---that maui gym is hot and sultry---dehydration becomes a problem the third day

If the past is any indication, will provide a small dose of winners more than losers, but CBB is not my forte.

Maybe more so this year than in the past since there is no NHL and will be following the game closer than in the previous few years.

Strength for me is in the NBA, NHL, and football........and Nascar.
