i play for a living now, you have to treat it like a job, knowing your going to play 8-10 hours per day, i play mostly 2/5 no limit, my goal is win $250 per day. i play out of a 5k bankroll, it truely is a grind, you have to have alot of patience, and alot of music on your ipod to overcome the boredum hand after hand.
good luck to you
I used to watch Matt play while i played myself....can tell he's very disciplined and doesn't sweat the bad beats....you play so much you just get used to it. He sees the 'long run'....knows that the numbers will pan out.
I can't stand the bad beats. Has made me quit so many times.
when is "sports weekend".....and yes, i'll take a C squared jersey, sirrrrr!Muscle up....Do you think that Cris Carpenter was ready to quit last night when the Stros punked the Redbirds?
Do I have to buy you a CC jersey to lure you down here for sports weekend with FISH and BILLSY?
I feel that way also, but I'm probably just kidding myself. You can outplay an entire table over 200 hands over 5 hours and blow all or half of it all on One hand. Very aggravating. If you have that hick all day fisherman mentality that is half the battle. I dont have the patience, although I am a good player.
