I would love to see the Pats fans after they go 6-10 without Brady.
I'd love to see Manning and a couple other guys dust them off 49-0 also.
I keep seeing you make these comments but it is clear you have no idea what you are talking about. Yes, I am a Pats fan, but I am also a realist and not saying this with a bias. Obviously they are not close to the same team as with Brady, but they are still MUCH better than 6-10. If the Bears can make the Super Bowl with Rex Grossman and Lovie Smith at Head Coach, there is absolutely no reason the Pats cannot at least win the AFC East- still have the best coach in the game and are loaded with Pro Bowlers on offense, and their D will finish top 5 or 6, which is par for them. How will the Colts 'dust off' the Pats 49-0 when they cant handle the Chicago Bears at home.. you dont understand parity in the NFL.
I agree 6-10 is a little low. I got them at 9-7 or 8-8 now. With still a chance at division and wildcard. But please dont compare the superbowl leading bears defense to you guys defense. Thats why the bears went to the superbowl. Also we will see about that best coach in the game crap without brady and without breaking the rules. We are going to see if he is actually as great as all say he is now.
Cassel isn't a bad QB guys. This might be more of a reflection of how bad the division is, but I wouldn't trade him for any other starting QB in the division. Don't even try to tell me Brett Favre because you'll never convince me he's still a good QB. Cassel is no Tom Brady, but he's good enough to lead this talented team to at least a 11-5 season, with a decent chance of still winning 13-14 games.
Cassel could be the worst QB in the league and they'd still win that pathetic division with ease. He's good though and they'll still be contenders.
Cassel is more Matt Schaub than Tom Brady.
