Everything is equal like strength of schedule and anything else.

Example 1

If Team A wins 70% of they're games and Team B wins 50% of they're games how often should Team A beat Team B

Example 2

If Team A wins 70% of they're games and Team B wins 35% of they're how often should Team A beat Team B

Against the 50% team B, I would think Team A should win at 70% (since team B represents the average team they'd face).

Against a 35% B team, the average team should win twice as often (or lose half as much). So I guess team A should win about 85% of the time since their losing percentage should fall from 30% to 15%.

Math is hard.

example 1

if team a wins 70% of they're games and team b wins 50% of they're games how often should team a beat team b

(.7-.7*.5)/(.7+.5-2*.7*.5)= 70.0%

example 2

if team a wins 70% of they're games and team b wins 35% of they're how often should team a beat team b

(.7-.7*.35)/(.7+.35-2*.7*.35)= 81.25%
